Who We Are
Carroll Ellis is the owner of Ellisian Fields Farm, and Hoofprints To The Soul LLC, an
EGCM Certified Personal Coach, contributing author to Touched
By a Horse Equine Coaching Stories, Telecommunications Engineer, retired
Air Force veteran/instructor, enthusiastic learner and catalyst for growth. She
and her herd of nine horses of various breeds and ages, work with people to help
them transition from just surviving to thriving by adding fun back into their every
day. Carroll has spent her entire life in the pursuit of getting
people and animals to harmonize together. From an early age she was able to see
multiple perspectives and outcomes. This skill allowed her the ability to
naturally smooth group dynamics. Now she and her horses facilitate teams improving
their group interaction and communication skills. Working with temperament
types has brought a way to share perspectives with people to craft
understanding where there was only confusion. Carroll sees the gift of the book Equusology is giving
voice to the horse on their preferences and temperament. This new understanding
provides a gateway for the human-horse relationship to move from surviving to
thriving. Visit the link above to learn about the Equusology Camps Carroll runs.
The herd is a loving group of multiple breeds all with unique personalities and skills. Each came here for different reasons and at different times, but all create hoof-prints to the souls of those people who visit.
The Equine Gestalt Coaching Method® is different than any other type of equine coaching and that is why I chose to become a practitioner. With EGCM® the horse is one coach and I am the other. We work in tandem helping each person find awareness that may have been lost in the hustle and bustle of a have-to lifestyle. There are several horses who each have differing talents. Let us help you find your path.
EGCM® is NOT psychotherapy and I am not a therapist.
The Equine Gestalt Coaching Method® was developed by Melisa Pearce, a core founder of the horse-human healing movement.
When Visiting The Farm
We are located on Ellisian Fields Farm which is at 7400 feet. It is normally 10 degrees cooler then Colorado Springs, so bring an extra coat or jacket and wear clothing you do not mind getting dirty.
